Yolandita Monge is the pride of Puerto Rico, and is known as the Puerto Rico diva. This ageless blonde beauty was the first Puerto Rican to win an American grammy, and she has sold more albums than any other Puerto Rican artist. Yolandita Monge was born in Puerto Rico, but only because her parents, who were living in New York City prior to her birth, decided it was important that she was born at home in Puerto Rico. Yolandita and her family returned to New York City for several years before returning to Puerto Rico for good.

Since she already had singing experience from a stint in a child choir, she had no problem graduating to radio programs and eventually, stardom. Since girlhood, Yolandita Monge demonstrated immense talent that was unstoppable. She is an all around entertainer capable of singing, dancing and performing. Yolandita has captured the heart of the world through her performances at Carnegie Hall. She even caught the attention of Congress, winning congressional recognition of her cultural contributions to her homeland. Yolandita has successfully acted in television programs and plays, and has even succeeded powerfully in an operatic role. Notable roles in musicals and her own talk show kept Yolly in the spotlight and constantly moving forward in her career.
