Yolandita Monge arrived in the world on September 16, 1966. Her claim to fame stems from her career as a singer and actress from Puerto Rico. She has over thirty albums to her name and boasts the name of Puerto Rico's Diva.

Personal life

Yolandita was born in Puerto Rico, moved to New York for several years and then headed back to Puerto Rico by the 1970s. Yolandita married three different many over her life time and bore three children: two daughters and one son. She currently resides in Puerto Rico with her third husband.

Singing career

Yolandita's singing career began early, when she entered and won a radio contest at age 11. Two years later, she signed her first record contract. At this time, she only released music in Puerto Rico. By 1978, Yolandita released her first international album. Once she achieved international success, Yolandita started touring all over the world to promote herself and her music.
